Rugby is the fastest growing sport in America. MLR Weekly from Rugby Wrap Up is an American TV series I am fortunate to get to edit. This week’s show features exclusive behind the scenes footage and interviews from the MLR Championship Final at New York’s Red Bull Stadium.
Rugby New York and the Seattle Seawolves faced off in the season 5 final and it was an incredible game. Rugby Wrap Up had Matt McCarthy reporting on the field post-game to bring some fantastic exclusive interviews and you can watch the rerun of the show that went out on American TV this week below.

“HARRISON, NY – The Major League Rugby season concluded in spectacular fashion, drenched in an avalanche of confetti. Rugby New York and the Seattle Seawolves gave fans a fittingly fantastic Shield Final, with the “home team” holding off the no-quit visitors from the Pacific Northwest.
New York lifted the MLR Shield for the first time in their history, beating the two-time champions 30-15 at sun-splashed and raucous Red Bull Arena, here in Harrison/Newark.
